The Norridge and Harwood Heights Police Departments and Firestone Complete Auto Care (4515 N. Harlem) are hosting an event to raise awareness about catalytic converter thefts. This is a FREE crime prevention service the Police Departments are offering. Citizens are encouraged to have their catalytic converter spray painted. Marking the converter is one way to deter thieves. Firestone technicians will be applying spray paint onto the catalytic converters on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
