Join us for a cooking class with local celebrity chef Nikolaos Kapernaros on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 6:30-7:45pm at the Harwood Heights Recreation Center – 7300 W. Wilson. Chef Nikolaos was a recent winner on the “Beat Bobby Flay” Food Network show! He will demonstrate how to prepare, cook, and present some of his famous dishes – and participants will be able to taste test during the presentation. The menu will include an appetizer (whipped ricotta with lemon zest and fig marmalade over paprika crostini), a salad (seasonal greens with blueberries, tomatoes, shaved parm, croutons, and balsamic vinaigrette), and an entree (shrimp with tomatoes, feta, ouzo, and cauliflower puree).
