Water Service

The experienced staff of the Village of Harwood Heights Water Department provides residents with the following services:

  • Billing payment information
  • Final bill requests
  • Meter equipment service
  • Meter readings
  • General customer information

NOTE:  Residents should make sure to check all toilets, faucets, and anywhere else where water leaking/loss may be an issue on a regular basis in order to avoid high water bills.

Billing Information
Residential billing is done on a bi-monthly basis.  Multi-Unit, Commercial, and Non-Profit billing is done on a monthly basis.

Payment Information
Water bill payments can be made at the Village Hall, 7300 W. Wilson Ave, during normal business hours; Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am - noon.  The Village also has a mailbox outside its main entrance where payments can be deposited 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Past due water bills are penalized at a rate of 10% of the total bill if paid after the due date.  The Village allows forgiveness of one penalty per year.
